Hello, there! I’m Susanna.
I am a design practitioner & educator specializing in service design.
My design practice draws from user research, service design, product management, and political science. Currently, I am a Service Design Researcher at University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine. I conduct research funded by the NIH to identify opportunities to improve adherence to evidence-based practices in ICU settings.
I'm always looking to learn new methods and apply them in novel ways! As a designer, exploring new hobbies has been especially useful for discovering different problem-solving techniques. It allows me to bring fresh ideas to my projects and build on core design values.
My most recent interest has been monarch butterfly conservation and learning about pollinator gardening!
